One of my friends was put on hold for interview. Does it mean he has no chances of getting an interview and then being accepted?

what school? I got that from Indiana (I am on hold pending my Fall grades) that means im not rejected, but that also means no Pre-dec 1 interview. After I submit my Fall grades, they will decide what to do. at least they didn't ask me for a secondary fee. im happy about that.

lol if he gets rejected he has no chance of an interview and getting accepted. Being on hold means they reviewed your application but don't think your qualified enough for an pre-december interview. They will review it again and consider you for later interviews if their class is not filled yet. At least this is the case for the school I got put on hold for.

Aside from ole-mighty himself, no one can know.

But generally speaking, when your put on hold for anything, it means they like you, but they just don't have the time/resource/availability to schedule an interview with you yet.
