Hey everyone an MS2 here who has been offered some books for sale and would like to know whether it is worth buying them. These are the books I have questions about:

BRS Path: I have the 1993 first edition ($3) and was leaning towards getting a later edition if I can. After what edition does it not matter (i.e. there are no crucial changes)?

BRS Phys: I have the 2nd edition and it has served me well in organ modules. Physiology doesn't really change that much so I am wondering whether there any changes in the later editions?

Clinical Micro: I have the edition prior to the newest one, did anything really change?

Thanks!

I used the 2nd editions of both BRS path and phys, and they were fine. The few details that might have actually changed in the time between editions were not details that were likely to be test. The 1st edition BRS path would be a little too old for my comfort, though.

1993 is pretty far back. I used the 2001 2nd edition and found that it was almost identical to the most recent 4th edition. But RR Pathology was my primary path reference.

BRS Phys 2nd edition should be fine, though I used the 3rd edition.
