curious what other fields u guys considered b4 committing to optho, and what made u choose optho?

ortho... lifestyle was deciding factor.

interventional radiology, ER, anesthesia...

but I really loved the microsurgery involved with ophto, and the lifestyle wasn't bad either!

---uro--the deciding factor was the residency was a little more surgery oriented and intense than ophtho (i know its lame, but it's the grain of sand that turned the balance)
