If any?
At the end of interviews they generally go "do you have any questions?" and I was told that they want to hear questions from you about the program or even questions related to what was going on in the vet community period.
Was wondering if ya'll had heard something similar? I think I kind of threw them off with mine as I asked two:
What they thought of the current rise in MRSA in the veterinary industry.
And then I told them my next one was just for fun and asked what type of cell, out of all the cells they could be, would they choose. One said a neutrophil, so he could eat all the time. Another said a RBC so that she could travel all the time, and the other said a basophil so that no one would know what the hell he was doing lol.
They then turned the question on me and I thought about it for a while then answered an embryonic stem cell so I could do whatever I wanted. They seemed to really enjoy that question.
So I was curious if ya'll asked anything and if so, what? Was it just about their program or did you ask about something else?

. I started out by saying I have an academic and professional interest in.......blah...Then I asked, How did you choose your area of specialty and what inspired you to challenge yourself in this field? People love to talk about how they made it to that road, so it was really a great opportunity for me to learn more about them and their interests as well as open up a forum for discussing how they cultivated their interest. I was able to ask specific questions of one interviewer and also was able to ask questions regarding their residency. We even got into where we grew up and how difficult it can be to move. I remember talking to one of the interviewers who asked me as I left if I had a purse. I said my husband was carrying it. And we both thought that was funny as she does it to hers all the time. Then we cracked up about how we load it with tons of junk and then hand it over! I think laughter worked the best at my interviews. The school I was rejected from wasn't "fun" during the interview, so I think acceptance=having a good time and being myself!
