When schools say they require a grade of 'C' or better in pre-reqs, does this mean that a C- is not acceptable? The majority of schools have this guideline, and I have only come across one school (CCOM/MWU) that specifies that C- doesn't count. That would really suck since I only have one class that I made a C- again, and do not want to re-take (Ochem 2:scared:)

uhhh.. a C or better means a C or better. lol i dont really think this needs explaining.

" require a grade of 'C' or better in pre-reqs "

a grade of C is no a grade of C- .. or they would say a grade of C- or better

ok so I just realized that was kind of a stupid question. My nerves are really getting to me. I guess the more important question is, will I still be invited for an interview with that C- if I plan on re-taking it Spring sem 2010? Or am I screwed for this cycle?

I would make note somewhere in the application that you are planning on retaking. However, if you do not pass with a C or better in the spring, your application can be rescinded.
