This is my first post. I am in high school, and am wondering what Extracurricular's you did in college that applied medicine?
I already have 40 hours of volunteering at my hospital, am in student council, and play lacrosse.

High School: 400 hours of volunteering at local hospitals, 200 hours of co-op in the critical care unit at a hospital, international awards in a business competition called DECA, president/VP of 3 clubs. Gr. 10 piano.

I'm currently in high school, but I did a lot of clubs and activities. Basically just do a lot of meaningful activities that'll give your perspective either into college life or just give you a better understanding of the world around you.

In high school I am doing theatre and community service.
For college I am planning on doing:
-premed (there is a premed club at my college)
-college democrats (not trying to cause debate)
-volunteering
-shadowing
-possibly run for student government. idk yet. 😕
-Latino/Latina Culture Club (No, I'm not hispanic, I just like the culture)
-Probably another academics related club (bio club, biochem society, etc.)

I decided to skip college and go straight into medicine in the UK. Its 6 years and i get a bachelors after 3 years and a medical degree after 6.

I have to apply back for residency and do all the IMG stuff but yeah. I'm in 1st year right now so i'm planning on doing research this summer 🙂
