What happened May 17?

People keep referring to 5/17 as some big change with the testing.

I do all right on the current NBMEs... I feel like I'm getting screwed or something by taking it after June. What happened? Drastically different scale?

They didn't tell us what happened. There are two things we know for sure based on official statements:

1. Immunology became its own section on their list of content covered. Previously it was a subsection of microbiology.

2. There has been a change in the question pool that means anyone who takes it post May 17th won't get their score until July 13th.

I wish they would tell us more, but thats all we got.

Ugh I hate being in the midst of some experimental stage in tests.

I took it today and it was exactly like UWorld/NBME.

Definitely did NOT feel like I was blindsided by any Immuno from outer space or anything.

I only took 7 & 11 plus the UWSA's. I would say 7 was overall the most similar to my exam, but I'm sure it varies.
