What if my CS results come in 2-3 months after I apply?

Hey guys can we apply in September 2016 with just Step 1 and Step 2 passing scores and after having attempted CS(while waiting for the CS result)? Unfortunately I won't be able to take my CS until July-August of 2016 and according to this link

my CS results won't come in until October-November of 2016. This will be a month or two months after I apply. Can this not work? Will I lose out on interviews because of this? If anyone can shed light on how this would work please let me know

P.S. FWIW I'm a US IMG. I'm assuming it shouldn't be a problem because my application will show that I've passed Step 1 and Step2ck and that I've already taken CS and I'm simply waiting for the results..

From what I've researched as an IMG, it's better to be ECFMG certified before you apply and in order to acquire it you need a passing grade in Step 1, 2ck and cs. Some programs don't even consider you if you're not certified. Nonetheless you can still apply, just keep in mind that you might not get the same amount of interviews.

Please go to the USMLE website or ECFMG website and look at the Step 2 CS Reporting Periods for 2018. If you plan on taking your Step 2 CS in June 2018, you should receive your result by September 12th.

Yes, you can start your application earlier when the 2019 Match ERAS Token becomes available. I believe the actual application is submitted on September 15th, so you will just need to upload your transcript on the 12th or whenever your score is released.
