Unless you really, really feel strongly about the BS/MD program - and you clearly don't - I wouldn't commit yourself to one program. If you can get into a combined program, you can likely get into a top notch med school through the normal route.

I am stuck deciding between a BS/MD program (Kean/Drexel) and attending undergrad (Uni of Pittsburgh) and applying to medical school. I'll most likely be choosing the BS/MD, however I want to know if it is normal to be scared of having "what if" feelings. Primarily, my question is "what if I went away for undergrad and applied to medical school like most people?"

Of course it's a normal feeling! Take a look at all the other recent threads on the same topic in hSDN. Everyone comes to their own personal decision regarding this, as an 8-year commitment is very long, but that's expected for those who have no doubts they want to be a medical doctor.
