I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
I've gotten one interview, I'm (desperately) awaiting for Dec. 1st to hear back from that interview.
I've yet to hear back from the other FIFTEEN SCHOOLS I APPLIED TO. Silence.

Snapshot of stats:
3.44GPA.
21AA.
3 years research.
100 shadowing.
100comm service.
Solid PS.

I'm not stellar, but I'm at least average I'd say.
15 schools. Silence. Anybody have higher #'s of schools they haven't heard from??

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, but am genuinely curious as to how you know your PS is solid?

Getting verified in late August could be why - I'd try to stay patient for post-December interviews.

You should have some post December interviews. You're app was verified late and that together with average stats, is why you don't have so many pre-december

Assuming you are a WA resident, you applied to all the right schools. No complaints with your list, you did your research.

Definitely the timing hasn't been helping. You did apply a little bit late.

I would also say that your shadowing and community service (especially) hours are a weak point. You can still continue to increase both and provide schools individually with an update email with increased hours. I would highly suggest doing this in addition to updates on any completed courses in December. This will put your application back on to the top of the list and in the sights of the admissions dean for you to get those acceptances which you need.

Yea you got you application in a bit late. I had similar stats to you but I applied earlier and got more than 1 call by this time. Curious why you applied to columbia ?
You just applied to very competitive schools, maybe you would've gotten more calls if you applied to a bit less competitive schools but defiantly expect calls after december if you don't get anymore before then.
