What is a status page?

What is a status page? I have seen everyone say they are checking it obsessively. I applied to IU via early decision. Does every school have one? Would they have told me about it or is it something that I can figure out on my own? thanks!

In my view? A waste of time and energy.

Not every school has one, and im not sure if that school does, but a status page is where you can go and input your AMCAS id or some identifying information, and it will tell you whats going on with your application (if you are complete, invited for interview, accepted, things like that)
