MD & DO What is better a DIY post bac or a SMP

Hi all,

I have posted on here before but I just have one more question.

I currently have:
2.6 sGPA and a 3.1cGPA (according to ACMAS)
2.9 sGPA and a 3.25cGPA (according to ACCOMS)

My sophomore year destroyed my gpa the rest of my app is good and LORs are good I just had a rough time in organic and general chemistry.

I realize that this is DEFINITELY not enough to get me into med school DO or MD but I was curious as to whether I should do a DIY post bac or do an SMP. I am currently in a 5 year BS/MS program and will graduate next year with my masters in Bio. If I do well next year is there a shot or am I better off finishing the program and then going right into a SMP?

My Mcat is looking to be around a 30
