Sorry for this stupid question, but what is a CBSA? I've searched the forums and google and I get nothing relevant...

I keep reading that ppl took this, but nothing more. Please, some more info? Thanks!

It is CBSSA-Comprehensive Basic Science Self-Assessment. This is the terminology the NBME uses for the Step-1 practice tests that you would see mentioned here as NBME 6, 7, etc. Here's the website: https://nsas.nbme.org/nsasweb/servlet/mesa_main

Hope this answers your query.

Thank you for your reply. I've seen "NBME" being thrown around, but not "CBSA" so I was getting confused.

Just wondering, is this similar to the Basic Science Shelf exam that schools give?

I don't know what is used for shelf exams, I didn't go to medical school in USA. However, if it is an exam given by your school to assess your preparation for Step 1, then I would think the format would be similar to NBME's CBSSA.
