Hi all, I just wonder what should I do or wait after submitting my AADSAS application (e-delivery)? I read the previous posts that it would take aadsas "2" months to send out the application to dental schools? Is it the case? Thanks!

I am going to be done with my application in a day or so. I think it will take that long. If I were you I would take classes such as anatomy or micobiology or some class to keep you busy and prep you for dental school.

Send the checks out to all the school that requires instant money. Buy a suit and wait for interview invites.

In the interim, study hard for that DAT.....

Wait for a month. Call aadsas and see if they have received/and or processed your application. If so, try and keep in touch with them and make sure your application is complete. Find out what is missing from your application if aadsas say that application is incomplete, and contact the necessary people to make sure your application is complete. aadsas is in the habit of losing people's recom. letter, transcript, or something. Just make sure you keep up with aadsas.

Tink hit it right on the money. Send checks to all the schools that require fees. Some schools require other information (this has nothing to do with secondaries), so double check those requirements and get that info out if needed.

The next step is to wait for secondaries. I was in the first batch for AADSAS last year (I was the number 8 applicant in the nation, or something like that), and my app. was sent to schools 6 weeks after I submitted it.

After AADSAS told me they had sent it out, I received 3 secondaries two days later, and 4 secondaries two days after that.

Once the flood gates open they really open. Be prepared for that.

Good luck!

Start saving your money. The cost is not over when you send in your aadsas application. Secondaries get expensive when you apply to a bunch of schools. It also gets expensive when you have to fly to several different interviews (plane ticket, hotel, food, etc.). I am still trying to pay off the 3 G's i spent last year applying, but remember its an investment thats all worth it in the end.

Hi all, thanks for your various thoughts and replies!!!!!!! They help! But, do you know how can I find out my application number? Or I should say the series number while I submit my application.....you know what I mean......

Call AADSAS about 2 wks after u submit your application. They'll give u your number and your mailing batch.

Hi Tink, thanks for your reply. It always helps!
I send you an email. Could you take a look?
