What is the average age for matriculation into medical school?

Just curious, I'll be 26 hopefully by the time I matriculate in the fall

According to the AAMC, it fluctuates between 23-24. 26 is pretty normal.

I'll be turning 29 if I get in my first time applying and I'll be married with 2 kids. 26 will be nothing to worry about.

if anything, I think being younger (like <22) is worse off than being order when you 're in med schoo.
