What is the average on MCAT?

Hey everyone,
I was wondering about what is the "true" average score on the MCAT. I overheard someone say that the average on the MCAT was 30 yet I remember hearing from someone else that the average was 25? Which is which? Thanks.🙂

The average MCAT score of all test takers is ~24. The average MCAT for all applicants is ~29. The average MCAT score for all matriculants is ~30. The average MCAT score of matriculants varies from school to school. You probably did hear two conflicting numbers, but both speakers probably meant different averages. Hope this helps.
