What is the benefit of submitting my AMCAS before getting MCAT score ready?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That way your application will be fully verified by the time your MCAT score is released and schools will have access to it asap. Otherwise, verification can take up to 6 weeks (or in my case, 9 weeks, weeeee!)

The above is absolutely right. It is only a logistical advantage (which is a big deal in this "game")

:beat: I 'third' this.

How long does verification take on AVERAGE?
Totally depends on when you submit.

Typically in:
June it's anywhere from a day to a week.
July 1 - 2.5 weeks
August 2 - 4 weeks
September 2 - 4 weeks
October 1 - 2 weeks (most have already submitted)

Of course you may find some outliers that lie outside of these intervals, but on AVERAGE, that's about what you'll find. The key is getting your app in and verified by late June or early-mid July. That's before the wait time gets ridiculous and before the majority of secondaries start becoming available.

You can also search the forum for a thread called The 2009 official verification thread (or something like that) - it'll give you some idea of how long it took people to get verified based on when the submitted.
