Just kidding.
docB said:The best residency is the EM residency at the In-N-Out Burger at the corner of I-15 and Tropicana in Las Vegas. Check FRIEDA.
No one in EM has ever burned out. Ever. It's just a myth.
You can only get into an EM residency (any EM residency, not just In-N-Out Mr. Shoot-For-The-Stars) with perfect scores and grades. If you have ever missed a question in med school, on the boards or the MCAT or SAT give it up and look elsewhere. Once you have acheived perfection over you whole academic career and personal life you should seek to be anointed by God and become trancendent of the physical universe to be really competitive. Make sure you include reference to your omnipotence in you personal statement which should be cast in stone and delivered from the peak of Mt. Sinai (no more than one page).

5.11b? You'd be laughed out of the worst residency in the country. To be competitive you must have done a solo, free climb of El Cap, naked in January.unk_fxn said:You forgot being able to lead climb at least a 5.11b. The serious applicant will have summitted several major peaks, and you should be ranked at least in the middle of your age group in a recognized endurance sport.

He rotated at In-and-Out as a fourth year. High Honors. (they created the category just for him). They said he would most likely be the best EP ever to grace the earth.
Boy was he surprised when he ended up matching at Burger King!
He's still bitter about the whole thing.
