i want to ask you from your experiance what are the best tools and stratigies to get 99 in step 1 & 2

The best test is First Aid and UWorld Qbank.

Do Step 1 studying and take it.

Then

Do Step 2 studying and take it.

You know that the 99 doesn't mean 99th percentile, right?

i meen 99 in 2 digit score (99th percentile)

if you have any advice of how to reach that goal
please share it
thank you so much
have a great day🙂

the 2 digit score is not a percentile (the percentage of people that you scored higher than). 75 is the passing mark. Average is about 90. My Steps are in the 250s and I got 99s for both, but I was not in the 99th percentile for either. To calculate your percentile, you have to get the mean, standard deviation, assume the data is normally distributed (fairly accurate). One standard deviation above the mean is almost always 99, but it corresponds to the 85th percentile. the 2 digit score is not very important as it doesn't differentiate between 230s and 270s...only the 3 digit score and the computed percentile are valuable.

Do a search function on this forum. There are numerous threads on the topic. There is no "key" to getting a 99. There are many resources out there that could get you a good score. The consensus seems to be a review book + a Q-bank.
