DO NOT USE THIS! The old "trick" is to go to the website and see if it lets you register again. Somewhere along the line I heard this only works for the old system and not the new FRED system, but whatever the case it did not work for me. The Tuesday before my scores were released, I was not allowed to register for STEP I again, and the Wednesday following, I was allowed to register for STEP I again! It made me think, according to the "trick," that I didn't pass STEP I, even though I found out hours later that I had passed with flying colors.
Basically, just wait to hear from your school or by mail.
