I find anatomy more difficult than other subjects because a major part of it is just memorization.

For USMLE, how are you guys/did you guys study for the anatomy section and found it to be successful on the real exam?

Thanks in advance.

If you're looking for efficiency look no farther than FA. If you're looking for completeness, Netter's is the answer (although that will seriously tank your efficiency)

I have good results in Anatomy on UW (80th percentile) and for most Anatomy I use the FA+Netter's color Atlas of Human Anatomy (I just look at the images and I try to create the story of the ureters- how they travel from the kidney-> bladder, what they cross on their way, etc.)
Sometimes FA Anatomy is straightforward.
Sometimes when it's not, I supplement the combo with Road Map to Anatomy- mainly the clinical correlations, which I then annotate in FA.
In the case of Neuroanatomy, I used the Kaplan Anatomy- CNS section+videos with v.good results.
My 2cents.
Good luck!
