I'm sifting through available jobs on my hospital's website and I can't find Phlebotomist on it anywhere. I tried alphabetical order and got nothing, and even tried searching for "CONTAINS 'phleb' " and got nothing. I just called the phlebotomy department today and asked if I could apply in person (I hate online job applications in general) and they said there were 2-3 positions available on the website. What exactly should I be searching for?

Try "clinical lab assistant" that is generally the title.

Sometimes these sites will let you search by department -- phlebotomists (or "phlebotomy technicians) will probably be under "laboratory"

good for you for being a phleb. I've worked as a phleb for the lab for several years and I love it. It's a great way to get clinical experience. Sure beats stacking towels as an ER volunteer anyway. Does the lab itself have a separate page with employment links? that's how it is at the lab I work at.

Try searching under Allied Health.
