I know the obvious answer here is going to be "email the school and ask" but for the moment can someone help me with this? The school I'm hoping to apply to (a few years from now) wants "mammalian physiology" and it lists both lecture and lab. Is this zoology? I am very confused, if it is zoology then why do we need that?

It means a Physio course such as Human Physio, Animal Physio, etc. Zoology is different. I think Zoology falls under the General Bio sequence (Plant Bio, Zoology, Cellular Bio).

Yeah, human or animal physio - lecture and lab are separate. However, be very careful about which class you take. I know at my school there are different kinds of physiogy - a lightened up version for nursing majors and a regular one - upper division for science majors. I already checked with some schools and they only accept the regular one ( The one I took ), but some of my classmates who took an alternative one are now in a vulnerable position.
