I've always heard that Tulane is a good school and often heard it referred to as the "Harvard of the South". After doing a bunch of research on med schools, Tulane is definitely my first choice. Tulane's average GPA for matriculation is only a 3.46, which is obviously a bit low compared to most other med schools. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was something else that the Tulane adcom is looking for. My BCPM GPA is pretty low, but I've only taken Bio I & II, and Gen Chem I, so I still have a ton of science classes left. I haven't taken MCATs yet, which I know is huge in determining the likelihood of matriculation, but does anyone have suggestions on what I can add to increase my chances of admission into Tulane?
