So apparently, did you know that eating whole foods without chemicals will cure cancer?

😱

Apparently Germany's known how to eliminate cancer for 50 years. They even use UV rays. :scared: They apparently take out your blood and "soup up" the antibodies and return them to your body so they can destroy the cancer cells.

...where in the hell do people get these crazy ideas? This is a girl who wants to go to med school, too. ...hope she doesn't make it.

Everyone knows this, the government also has a cure for parkinson's disease, ALS, and alzheimers.

They're just with holding so that they can make more money by selling treatments, not cures.

I do gene therapy research for treating cancer and someone pretty much told me I'm wasting my time on "primitive technology" because Canada's government apparently invented a laser back in the 80s that is capable of identifying and destroying cancer cells while through SCIENCE leaves all other cells unharmed.

I asked him if he was referring to particle accelerators. He clearly didn't understand me but he insisted it was "laser technology" and it cured all types of cancer and that America just wants its citizens to die so it doesn't buy this technology from Canada.

Sorry fellow Americans.

If I was going to make up a story like that, I'd a choose a more remote and inaccessible country than fricking Canada.

She learned this when her Mom was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She and her Mom are both big on holistic-type medicine.

I actually found the website that she must have based her observations on...it's full of flashy ads about how you can cure cancer if you just pay $$$ for this book on how to do it!

Some people...

Didn't you know? Diseases are always cured by the thing that causes them. If UV can break DNA, it should be able to put it back together again, right? Right?

One of my favorite medical myths is about colloidal silver. People who use it excessively have this to show for it: http://www.silvermedicine.org/argyria.html

Even more amusing: websites selling 'colloidal silver' use 'electrolysis' to produce it, thus providing evidence that they lack the basic scientific aptitude to recognize the difference between a colloid and a solution.

Anyway, OP, I agree with you. This kinda stuff is just ridiculous.
