What is your weekly schedule for 2nd year like?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Normally 3-4 hours a day of lecture (like from 8-12), then a small group session once or twice a week (say 1-3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

Then we will have a couple hours of intro to clinical medicine once a week.

-Each block lasts 6 weeks: midterm at end of 3 weeks, final at 6 weeks
-Class 8-noon each day, not mandatory its video recorded.
-occasionally there will be a required workshop in place of a lecture or two.
-about 4-6 hrs a week for required clinical stuff in afternoons, aka "play doctor".

I think my school has an amazing 2nd yr schedule but with the boards looming over your head, it is tough to really feel comfortable. Anyway, we have 2 blocks with 2 classes each. Each wk we have ~2 hrs of lecture per day (on average, some have 3 some have 1 or none). 1 lab and case study session per wk. Tests every 6 wks. It is nice because one of the classes (path 1 and 2) is nearly completely self study so there is thus a lot less lecture time.

Every week:
4 days a week of lecture. 9-12 PM. (12 hours)
1 afternoon of clinical skills/PBL related to the organ system block you're in.
1 afternoon of shadowing.
2 afternoon's free a week. Wednesday's completely off.

Exam every 5-8 weeks. Cumulative exam at the end of every quarter.

2 months (6-10 weeks depending on preference) to study for boards at the end of MS2.
