I got this idea from a post from Becky after reading though Lvspro's thread.....

Let's make this thread the place where ppl write about any information they received in terms of interviews or WHATEVER (just about any correspondence) so we could all 'gauge' what are status, etc is. Also, let's try to keep this thread pretty exclusive to the TITLE 😉 so that future students could easily navigate and read information as it pertains to the program they are interested in. I say this because it seems some threads get 'cluttered' very easily, and I'll be the first to admit I probably am guilty of this.

I'll start:
I sent in my app to the univ of Fla yesterday, today I got a message from them stating they've received my ERAS info and are waiting for my Dean's letter, scores, etc. Again, I believe this is just a standard letter they send out to ALL applicants. I guess it's a start...lol my first 'contact' from a program, it's already given me the jitters 😍

Good idea, Thinkfast. I am still awaiting ANY communication...however not having the highest boards around maybe I'll have to wait a little longer 🙁 . Hehe, it'll be ok, but it would sure be great if I could hear from at least one place to boost my confidence! But, such is life. Hang in there guys!

all my LORs, atleast 3 of them, are uploaded. i wont be sending 4 to q school...just sorta pick n choose which ones to.

I thought programs only offer interviews once they get the entire application? The Dean's Letters don't come out until Nov. 1st, will all interviews be after this, or are some of you interviewing before this?

I'll be on an away rotation that I cannot get out of for even a day. I hope I'm not flooded with interview offers once my application is complete (with everthing else except Dean's Letter)

Yeah, I really felt like that was an informative letter, unlike the "we'll call you if nobody shows up to interview" letter from emory 😡

I thought their word choice was interesting in that email - something to the effect that they will be "grading" our applications... not 'reviewing' them... but 'grading' them. Still gives me the shivers when I read it! (Either that or the 2K names on the "To:" part of the email!)

Gotta agree that the letter did pique my interest in their selection process. I guess that grading is better than an all out cut-off for things like S1/S2 scores.
