Hey guys,

So recently I have developed an interest in wanting to create my own Bodybuilding supplement as I love working out and love entrepreneurship. Something i have an interest in since childhood. What kind of profession would allow me to create my own supplement one day?

I am currently Majoring in BioChemistry.

I am currently Majoring in BioChemistry.

Definitely drug R&D. My company works with various of pharmaceutical compounds for different companies, varying in synthesizing novel formulations all the way to long-term stability support for Phase III drugs and drugs on the market.

Most likely, you will need to get a PhD. However, the difficult aspect would be finding out the area from which to get a PhD. Chemistry is the tempting answer, but I would actually look at something either Pharmaceutical Related (Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacokinetics) vs. Chemistry since it's pretty difficult to find a strong school which focuses solely on Synthetic Organic Chemistry which won't chew you up and spit you out. #bittergingerrage

we already have bodybuilding supplements that are effective... they're called anabolic steroids.

you want to study if they're safe to use? well go into medicine, then get a grant to study the safety profile then show up at congress with your findings to overrule FDA and then you can finally market steroids in your supplements.

any supplements besides sterioids are snake oil with the exception of (glucosamine, protein and creatine) NO is furaking bull****.

i don't see why you can't make supplements with just a b.s. in biochem. all you really need to do is just read a bunch of old books and you'll be able to synthesize your own stuff look at patrick arnold for example. making bbing supplements is easy. just buy bulk ingredients and mix away. watch bigger, stronger, faster to get what i mean.
