What kinda pre-med school stuff you can include in your CV?

I am trying to update my CV right now cuz I am bored from reading FA....
I consider myself a non-traditional med student and I have no clue if I should continue to include some of my past work experiences
I worked in various fields including a UN NGO PR position campaigning for cancer awareness, etc.
I guess the question is whether it is okay to include these health-related full-time positions, especially some of them are the typical EMT or lab tech jobs, you know what I'm saying?

absolutely. From what I've heard, residencies want you to explain any gaps in your education (i.e., between undergrad and med school), so they know you weren't just bumming around. And it also helps you be a more interesting candidate and could help you during interviews. I've included many internships and even conferences I've participated in dating back to college, none of which are medically related. I might have to cut it down for residency apps, but the whole point of a CV is to list everything significant you have done. I've seen CVs running in the 100s of pages (granted, for older and brilliant people).

Definitely include them. If it's something you think residency selection committees would want to know about (or if it's something you want them to know about you) then include it. I would leave off "Secretary of the Pre-med Club" and the like though.

Heck yeah include them. In fact include EVERYTHING. You never know what is going to help you get into residency. I had all sorts of questions from many different things in my CV that just happenned to get the interest of the person interviewing me.

I've been wondering about this too. What about pubs/abstracts from unrelated research in a field other than medicine?
