If you do not want to get bored, look for a position with a state psychiatric hospital. It is very similar to a LTC facility, in that all your patient are there for months to years. The forensic component keeps things very interesting. There can be patient classes that pharmacists teach on site. Drug information service for the psychiatry staff, educational publications and presentations, anti-coag, and collaborative drug therapy mgmt of chronic disease states. There is also MTM, clozapine monitoring service, etc. It can be a rewarding and very exciting place to work as a pharmacist. If you want more info, let me know.
