I'm not confident with my math skills anymore since the last time I've taken a math class was 3 years ago. Will Chad's videos help in this section? Or are there any other materials that will refresh my memory on how to prepare for QR?

I'm going through Math Destroyer now, and I went through all of Chad's videos over the course of the past two months, and finished about two weeks ago.

Honestly, I'm getting absolutely crushed by Math Destroyer right now. My math skills are not the best, and the fact I watched it over that long a period makes me forget everything. My exam is in June, so I'll probably rewatch the videos over the course of a week next month. That being said, you do get better as you go along Math Destroyer, and Chad does teach you everything you need to know.

Basically, watch Chad's Videos, take good notes, then go through Math Destroyer.

That being said, I haven't taken the DAT yet, and I don't feel like I'm the best person to give you this advice... That is just my $0.02, and I'd wait for someone who already taken the DAT answer the question better!

Don't watch chad videos. Just look at the guideline he has printed out for the math videos to get a good sense of what's covered. Then just start doing math destroyer problems; don't even try to time yourself at first. Just get the ideas down; it is very basic so it shouldnt take long. Once you think you have all the ideas now, start practicing on your timing.

^ 24 on the QR (but QR is not that important so don't even stress out about it)

Im using a mixture of Qvault and the first eight exams from Math Destroyer. You will definitely see a trend within the math questions once you go through the ten tests on Qvault and then go back thru Math Destroyer. For example, there are two to three different variations of combined work problems.

1). Bob can paint a fence in 6 hours while Jim can paint a fence in four hours. How long will it take if they work together?
2) Bob can paint a fence in 4 hours while Jim can paint a fence in 6. How long will it take them if Bob only works for the
first two hours and they both work together the rest of the time.

I actually took the time to make a handwritten sheet of how each variation is solved for each topic. This was extremely time consuming but I am absolutely horrible in math.

Math Destoeyer, CrackDat and Qvault are your best resources for this. Study them as much as possible. You'll see you will learn a lot.

Also I forgot to mention. When using the math destroyer is imperative to fully understand the explanation that is in the back of the book

Math destroyer really helps you to know the kind of questions you will see. I also used my friend/roommate to explain ones I don't know because he is really good at math. If you dont have a friend who is good at math the answer keys walks you through it

If I do math destroyer and some bootcamp and/or qvault will I be set?

Watch's Chad's videos to get a quick refresh of math. Then memorize the equations at the beginning of Math Destroyer. You may need to watch some Khan Academy videos for topics which you don't understand. Do Destroyer over and over again. I haven't taken a math class since 2001 and managed to get a 22 on QR using that strategy.

Math Destroyer, DAT Qvault and CrackDAT are your best bets. If you master Destroyer, takes time, then move on to CrackDAT or Qvaukt, you will do fine.
