Hey everyone, I have yet to take the MCAT so I was wondering what your opinion would be of what I would need to be competitive at a MD or DO school here are my stats:

Major: Exercise Physiology (with Honors)
Minor: Biological Sciences
Overall GPA: 3.551
Science GPA: 3.510
Upward trend, my freshman year I was D1 athlete, school was unfortunately not my priority. Gave it up and transferred schools to go after my dream of becoming a doctor.
Research: Honors Research Project, Ohio University Diabetes Institute Summer Research Internship, Co-authored multiple other research projects, multiple poster presentations and grants
Volunteering: So far 200 hours on rehabilitation floor of local hospital, have plans for multiple physician shadowing experiences this summer
Other EC: D1 Rower for a year, Exercise Physiology Club Treasurer, Sigma Pi Fraternity Scholarship Chair, Phi Delta Epsilon (honors medical fraternity) Philanthropy Committee, Student Advisory Council for the College of Health Sciences and Professions
Community Service: Multiple different things through the organizations I am involved in. Everything from Special Olympics to Children's Miracle Network.

P.S. I ideally would like to go to a school in the Midwest if possible

For MD, >30 (national avg is 32 for MD acceptees.)

For DO >25.
