Hello, I'll get to the point. I calculated my GPA with the AMCAS GPA calculator
Cumulative UG AMCAS GPA 3.268
Cumulative UG "BCPM" AMCAS GPA 3.235
Cumulative UG "all other" AMCAS 3.319
Asian-ORM
Graduated in 2018 (B.S. Biochem)
Took a gap year to reflect and build ECs
Currently, have over 800 clinical hours (including volunteering, shadowing, clinical research)

Question is, what MCAT score would be good enough to get me into low tier MD schools or SMP-repair then med school.

Also inclined to apply to DO so info on that would also be appreciated. Thank you.

It's impossible to say. Some of the lower stat schools emphasize community service and want 1000 hours of volunteering. Even a 528 MCAT will not guarantee admission anywhere. If you have a compelling story, you can get in with a lower MCAT.

This shows a grid of GPA x MCAT to see the percentage of applicants that get accepted. Getting a 517 would give you a 50% chance, statistically speaking. Those some of those applicants likely have great stories.

With those GPAs, not even a 528 will save you.

Get a 505+ for DO and you're fine.

I believe the average score for Asian matriculants is 513. But with those GPAs you’re most likely gonna need higher than that.
