What month do you consider too late to re-take the DAT for this application cycle? 😱

depends on the deadlines of the schools you are applying to... you just want to make sure they can recieve the new scores before their application deadline. this will also depend on if the schools you are applying to will accept faxed unofficial copies while waiting for the official ones to be sent from the dat center. i think it is suppose to take around 3 weeks for schools to recieve official scores, so for example, if the deadline is in november and the school does not accept faxed unofficial copies, then you would want to take it no later than october (so i hope the schools you are looking at have later deadlines!)
ps. i am sure you already know this, but the earlier the better, since some schools will make their decision before getting the second set of scores, and also a lot of the school's spots will already be filled way before their deadline (if the deadline is after dec 1.)
