what % of psychologists use this forum?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Most posters on here are actually current students/interns; the number of degree-holding psychologists is in the minority. As for the % of all psychologists nationwide who use this forum? No clue, but I'd imagine it's a relatively small number.

They are probably 40-50 regular posters on here, only a handful are finished and licensed. There are tens of thousands of clinical/counseling psychologists in this country. I'm no statistican, but...😀

Uh...no way in hell it's "most"

PsychPhDStudent, what do you mean? I definately think most users are prospective or current students/interns. It is called "Student Doctor" Network...not APA, Division Blah, Blah chat site.... Just sayin'😎

I agree with erg923. I've been lurking around this site for years and I see very few practicing psychologists...who has time to answer random questions about stuff you've already tackled?! They usually log on, shine some light on the subject and log off for a few months...(as I do too when I get super busy... and I'm still in training).

This place and its search engine is GOLD though...lots of friendly avatars and tons of info.

I've read about folks going from application to acceptance to coursework and still others going from internship and beyond...there's hope.

Not to speak for PsychStudent, but my impression was that he/she was responding to the original post's use of the word "most." I agree, there's no way in hell most psychologists use this board.
