The averages in my class are usually mid 70s, frequently with ~20% failing, which leaves many people either failing or on the edge of failure, given that <70 is considered failing.
I'll wager a coffee on that course being neurodepended heavily on the exam. We had some were the average was a 65%, so over half the class failed. Typically a high 70 average, so Id say at least 15-30% fail each exam.
Scores are curved though, there was one block where I failed every exam but with the curve had an 80
Ding ding dingI'll wager a coffee on that course being neuro
That's pretty alarming that more than half the class would fail, are they accepting applicants that are not capable of handling medical school..YIKES!Not sure of the exact percentage at UNE but it's fairly sizeable; they have to do pretty generous "massaging" of the grades otherwise literally half the class would fail out.
It's not that, the tests are just garbage. This is something the typically-defensive administration will openly state. That's pretty alarming that more than half the class would fail, are they accepting applicants that are not capable of handling medical school..YIKES!
