I'm an intern in EM and am feeling that my CXR reading skills are lacking. I was going to buy a Radiology book to help, but I can't decide which 1 to get. I'm torn between Felson's Principles of Chest Roentgenology and Emergency Radiology: Case Studies. Felson's is $45 on amazon.com, but only covers the chest. Emergency Radiology is $130 on amazon.com but seems to cover everything. Does anyone have the Emergency Radiology, and if you do, do you feel the Chest section is adequate? If anyone has both I would love to hear a comparison.

First, really? No one on here has any advice on Radiology books?

Dude, stop promoting your stupid Amazon store. If anything, link to SDN's store. If you don't have anything to contribute on SDN besides 39 links with commission-making code in them, bug off.

Second, what the heck are you talking about? This has got to be one of the most odd replys to a question I have ever seen. What link did I even put in my post?

That was in response to a post by this guy who is now banned for spamming SDN with links to his amazon bookstore. His posts were apparently deleted along with the ban.

I 2nd Emergency Radiology....it's a good book.

Thanks for the advice guys. I went ahead and got the Emergency Radiology Case files after thinking about it a little more. It really seems to be a good book so far.

Willow - That makes a lot more since.
