Hey
I have a measly score of 202...now that most of my doors are closed. I'm just wondering which ones are open? If anyone has a general idea, any help would be useful.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself over and over that your still going to be a doctor and you can do whatever you want. Whatever you do, don't settle for something you don't want to do b/c of one score. After all, it is just ONE test score. It certainly shouldn't dictate the rest of your life - and you really shouldn't think that its going to. Furthermore, you shouldn't let people you don't even know tell you that it will.
If you want to do the most competitive residency out there - talk to the PD at your institution and find out what you can do to make yourself more competitive. You might have to spend an extra year or two doing research but, hey thats nothing compared to what you have already spent on your education. Additionally, you might not get into the most prestigous spot for that specialty but, don't go into psych, medicine, family med, peds b/c you think you have to.
Give yourself a healthy dose of self confidence - "I can do it, I can do it, I can do it", stop the pity party and get out there and do whatever it takes.
I can understand everyones fears about matching since we are all in the midst of ERAS but, I can't understand why people come on here and ask others to predict if they can do X, Y or Z based on their step scores and grades. No one can predict for sure based on just those factors and asking total strangers to do so is insane.
