1) Accepting students who had one bad year but two other good years?

2) Accepting students who have excellent activites, letters of rec., and essay but a 3.5 GPA?

3) Accepting URM?

4) Putting heavy emphasis on the interview?

Thanks.

1. No school is "known" for this, however all do it regularly.
2. Every school.
3. Every school.
4. Every school.

To answer all your questions - Caribbean schools.

Justy in case you guys didn't know I meant the above, but to an extreme.

Do not be troubled by such things. Eventually you will have to harvest what you sow.

Apply widely as it's really a crapshot. Consider Temple, BU, UIC and Albany. Good luck.

Don't know yet.

i heard st. lukes university does... but that's only a slight chance of an acceptance...

nursing schools.

Damn! You people are brutal. To the OP, don't worry about it. Rock the MCATs and you'll be sitting pretty. I bombed my first year (below a 3) and then made an upward trend to end up with Dean's List and a final GPA ~3.6 and all turned out well. If you had any difficulties that were caused by reasons beyond your control (personal illness, family troubles, etc), be sure to mention it in your personal statement. Otherwise, it sounds like you have several things going for you. Good luck!
