Hi! I'm on the alternate list and anxiously waiting to hear from one of my top schools, and I have already been accepted to other schools. I will have to tell at least one school that I'm not going to take my spot there after all, and I thought others might be in the same boat of declining. Since some people know they're declining certain schools and others are eagerly waiting as an alternate, I thought it might be helpful for people to post the schools they're declining to give the alternates an idea of how likely it is that they will get in.

I declined the admission offers from USC, Univ of Pittsburgh, Temple and Seton Hall.

I declined admission offers from VCU, Winston Salem State University, University of New England, and University of Pittsburgh. I also turned down an interview at Chatham.

I plan to decline Sacred Heart. Pitt is actually one of the schools whose waitlist I'm on, so fingers crossed!

Actually, I might decline Shenandoah. It's all up in the air right now...
