Buy both, both are good study tools.

Yes buy both. I would also recommend getting chads videos to supplement the kaplan book for gen chem and ochem.

Than Destroyer for more practice problems. Make sure to get math destroyer for QR.

2-3 weeks before your exam I would recommend getting Topscore for practice exams.
