What should I do? Help please

Hi guys,
First of all, I'm so glad that this forum exists 🙂)
My problem is I want to take the DAT this summer (maybe around May), but I haven't done any extracurricular activities (except for the volunteering at hospital for a year now). I know if I register for the DAT, I have to fill out the confidential form also (which includes the extracurricular session). I want to register now but I don't have much hours to say in the extracurricular session. Should I do shadowing, community services,...in this semester and register for the DAT few more months later?
By the way, I just thought of dental few semesters ago, that's why I haven't done any shadowing. My GPA is 4.0 as well as science GPA. I'm done with my prerequisites but haven't done many activities.I feel so behind, what should I do, please?

If you have a 4.0 and you get a good score (20+ I think) you'll get into most schools. Relax and take the DAT when you're ready. One YEAR of volunteering is good lol

I met my professor who is also a medical school committee today. He said I don't have much chance, made me worried. I think getting a good DAT score and some shadowing hours will be ok. Thank you 🙂

I'm not sure. I haven't registered yet, but I read a DAT application instruction. It indicates that there is a confidential form that goes along with the DAT application. Maybe I misunderstood or something. Thank you.

That's silly, how would having a perfect gpa not get u into some dental school, contingent on a good DAT... Seriously I think you're fine! Good luck!

You have not even taken the DAT yet and have a 4.0 GPA. I am baffled how your professor can make the statement " you don't have much of a chance", without your DAT scores. Your 4.0 AA and Science GPA shows that you are an excellent student.🙂

I second this... I recommend you spend more effort on dental related activities (such as shadowing different dentists). You have a great GPA so I believe you will just do fine with DAT.
