What should I do?

I know its early on in the application cycle, but after getting a soft rejection from MWUAZ, I am starting to panic. I need to figure out what I should do to strengthen my application for next cycle. Any advice?

The reason you got rejected is most likely due to your lower GPA. With your good DAT scores, a solid year of acing science post-bacc classes will be a testament to your improved academic ability. Like you said, it’s early in the cycle so don’t stress yet.

How many schools did you apply to and did you apply to private ones? Also is your GPA an upwards trend?

I applied to 17. And besides my state school and Indiana, the rest were private schools. There is not a real trend in my gpa either

Served an LDS mission in Malaysia. Did a week long dental trip to Honduras. I also have a good amount of leadership service. I think they are pretty good. I think I realize i have a 50/50 shot of getting in. I just worry about realizing I am not going to get in next may and then apply the next month with the same gpa

Take some more classes if you’re worried and maybe retake the 18 PAT.
