I know that AACOMAS combines my uGPA and graduate gpa into an overall GPA. Overall GPA is 3.24 and overall science is 3.0. I am getting screened out by the few schools I applied too based on this and was open to considering suggestions considering the fact that I completed a SMP. My undergrad GPA was 3.17 uSGPA 2.84 and my graduate GPA from the SMP was 3.53 cumulative and 3.49 science gpa. I find it really disappointing that these schools use overall GPA to determine minimum academic requirements for secondaries.

Theres a separate line for post bacc GPA, or there was last year.

This is why you need to apply broadly. What's your MCAT score?

So I took MCAT twice in undergrad: 2015: 498 129 121 124 124
2016: 493 125 123 123 122
I know this third MCAT I need to do well thats why I voided recently because I knew I was not ready.

Retake the MCAT. Use a solid prep program. If you have money that would be Kaplan, nextstep prep, or Princeton. If you're like me you could use magoosh or uworld. Maybe examcrackers too although I'm not sure of the cost.

I know for sure magoosh helped me increase my MCAT by 10 points in 5 months so I'd take advantage of that plan. Knock it out of the park and reapply broadly. Include your ideal schools as well as safety schools, also DO schools.

Do you think focusing on magoosh and Khan Academy are good resources for the mcat?

They are a resource but make sure to utilize everything at your disposal. 129->125 in chem/phys indicates a severe lack of content, I would suggest the 100 day MCAT study guide or make one similar that fits your specific needs. Rock that next one!

So your MCAT was before SMP? You should have done better now after taking all those science classes at SMP program.

Even if they used SMP GPA, your 498 drop to a 493 is a death kiss.
I would start thinking Pod school bro.

Sorry, but Hell doesn't let everyone in.

I think now is the time to seriously start thinking of a Plan B. Your success in your SMP has saved you a bit but the large drop in MCAT scores after a year and having to void a third is concerning. Podiatry school is a decent option for you at this point but if you’re dead set on medical school, you either have to do a post-bacc with linkage or absolutely crush the MCAT. Throw everything you’ve done to prepare for it in the past out the window and start fresh. Attack it with everything you’ve got and score 505+ and there could be a newer D.O. School that could give you some love. Best of luck!

I used Khan Academy practice questions and The Princeton Review giant book and full length pracetice tests. I ended up with a 503 (Chem 125, CARS 128, Bio 123, PS 127). I think KA helped a lot with passages and data interpretation for Chem and Bio, but I regret not focusing on content more, especially anatomy and physiology. I felt the Chem section in TPR was a good way to brush up (though I can see it's your strongest section and you may want to focus your energies elsewhere). I didn't feel like their Bio section helped me much. I didn't study at all for CARS or PS so I have no comment on those.
