Hi guys,
I'm currently plowing through the Kapan books,
but I need real practice.

so i hear there are two optoins:
(Aside from kaplan's EXPENSIVE packages)

OAT destroyer
and
AChiever?

1-so are they different?
2-should i buy both?
3- do u order these online?
4- any other options?

thank you SO much!
appreciate!

I will comment on the OAT Achiever, but you can read through the many old posts about OAT Destroyer.

1) Yes, they’re both different. OAT Achiever is a fair/good for practice simulation for the actual conditions for the OAT…however beware that the science questions (Bio, G-Chem, O-Chem, & Physics) are more detailed and difficult than the real OAT…also, the QR and RC are longer (more questions and more time) than the real OAT. Don’t be too disappointed if you score lower on the OAT Achiever, since the questions are more detailed than the actual test, you should be able to score higher on the real OAT.

2) I would buy OAT Achiever if you need additional timed practice exams; otherwise, it’s useless.

3) Yes, you can order them both online.

I have heard good reviews about Topscore also. It is made by scolarware and is the same computer format with 3 complete oat tests. Right now I am reviewing the Kaplan OAT book and its questions from the online course. I plan to buy the Achiever and Topscore for the extra questions for practice.

hm...i'm still confused,

so oat achiever,
destroyer
and topscore
are all JUST EXAMS?

so what is the difference?
does one contain MORE exmass?
or do they all have 3?

and also, when you order these, there's no expiration date on them right?
i could use them even next year?

thanks!

Do a search on the OD forums for info on each and also go to their websites. I know that one of them has 6-9months till it expires after you buy it even if you don't start using the program. Also, topscore doesn't provide explanations to the questions and acheiver does. Those are both software that simulates the OAT.

The OAT Achiever will expire in 6-7 months. The Top Score Pro OAT will expire in 7 months. The OAT Destroyer contains practice problems with solutions for the science sections and QR. Both of the OAT Achiever and Top Score are computer simulation programs that contain 3 practice tests. I agree with the previous poster, you should do your own research on the three products. IMO, there really isn't a product out there that will fully prepare you for the actual OAT.
