ok, so i know that most of you guys are not fully trained vets yet, but i could use your advice. i have an australian shepherd who is aprox 3 years old and she had been eating her own feces for about 2 years or so. at first it was real gradual where she would only eat it during the winter months. now she is eating it all the time. i have herd that there are home remidies/ products we can buy to stop it, but i am hesestant about doing so with out consulting our vet 1st. should we even take her in? what causes it? i herd it can rewin their digestive tract, is that true? i have thaught about giving her a daily vitamin. could that help? with her eating her poop, what are the health risks? could she face complications later on down the road? please give me some advice asap! thanks! & god bless you all! 🙂😍
