Hey everyone

So I'm wondering what exactly you should know about plants for the dat. I'm looking at the 2015 Ada guide and there's no section on plants, besides their topics with photosynthesis and diversity of life. Do you need to know the structures of the plants and the specifics, such as the plants chapter in cliffs ap? Or should I just stick to knowing photosynthesis and biological diversity?

If someone could give me some info I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing. If anyone knows about this please let us know!!

Alternations of generations, male vs female parts and their roles, etc. have to know all the photosynthesis down like the back of your hand

Thanks. Do you think we should know specifics about seed, root, stem and leaf structure? I mean details such as the coleoptile protects the epicotyl in monocots etc. Or are questions based more around the bigger picture of plant structure?

With biology its a toss up; could be that specific or could be a very simple problem. Know both.

For the biology portion, have a good understanding of all aspects of what you need to know for the bio part. So if i were you i would study the broad picture of it and then later focus on the details. When I took the test I focus too much on the details instead of the broad picture so it hurt me on five or so questions. So understanding the broad picture will help tremendously for the test instead of trying to focus on the little details of everything. I'm confident if you do that much you could get at least 20 or above on bio.
