What study materials to buy for the DAT?

I have been doing a lot of reading on here and I am planning to buy these study materials I think for sure....Let me know what you guys think and what else you recommend.

-Cliff's AP BIO
-Barrons AP BIO
-Destroyer DAT w/MATH
-Crack DAT PAT (just downloaded it to play with - scored a 21 on my first test and was pretty happy!) Is that test similar to the DAT?
-Chad's Videos
-TopScore

Is this enough?

Also how long before I take the DAT should I start studying? I plan to take the DAT next March so I'm just trying to get a head start.

You should be in great shape with the material you have listed above. I used all of the materials and was able to do well enough for 9 interviews. Good Luck!
*In my opinion CDP is very similar to the real PAT section on the DAT. My tests on CDP were either 21 or 22, I got 21 on the real DAT.

If I were you I will just get KBB from e-bay or amazon. Kaplan course was totally a waste of money.

there isn't a LOT but but few at least for sure. that and plants too.

I used Kaplan subject tests majority of the time during that summer, if you know all the questions inside out, understand all the details and how it derives the answers then you're set. The difficulty is slightly hardly than the DAT and the questions are pretty much cover it all esp. the science portion. I remember many people discussed about it here few years ago when I took it. You can ask around and see if you can get a copy on eBay or try Craigslist.

I'm using KBB and Kaplan white book (pretty much the same stuff) and my first year biology textbooks.

Your BIO texts should suffice. Cliffs and Barrons are good because they present the material in a clear manner (compared to other texts which go to in depth/suck at explaining things). I also have been periodically using my BIO text from undergrad (Campbell's 7th).

For Chem make sure you use Chad's videos, you won't need anything else if you spend time on his videos, take notes and do the quizzes a few times. Both Orgo and Gen. Chem would be $50. For PAT, I am not really sure as I never did good on that section, but everyone seems to be recommending Crack DAT PAT so it must be good. I never used anything for QR and RC, so I can't say anything about the materials there. Hope this helps.
