i just finished free 150nbme with just 75% overall correct ...

first block: 78%
second block: 69 %
third block: 78 %


this really s@cks!!!!!

i have done nbme15 with 207 two weeks ago with no improvement it seems. wtf is going on ?

i am doing 140 U world questions a day and starting to read FA ... i have only 3 weeks left until exam day.

should i postpone my exam? i would be happy if i scored at least 215 or so for internal residency...but that seems pretty unrealistic now. 😡😡😡😡😡

i have completed uworld ... gone through all questions two times. and gone through FA one time. doing second round FA now.


does somebody know how 75% nbme150 is translated into a predictive score? is it good enough to just pass? i would do even family medicine in texas 🙂

Dont bank on that. Your NBME is far more predictive 200-210 range.

I got a 75% as well on the Free 150 at the prometric, and got a 217 on the real thing. My last NBME was a ~220. The real exam is much tougher than the Free 150.

ok thanks for that info. how many weeks/days prior to the exam did you you took the free150? 217 is a solid score !

Over a month.

And a 217 isn't that good. I was just fed up, and ready to move on at that point.

if you are out of time, do first aid and pathoma as much as possible. dont bother with questions. each test is different but i felt uworld barely helped with my exam and i spent a ton of time on uworld...
