I am currently a junior psychology major and i have decided i want to go to pharmacy school. i have already takin most of the pharmacy pre reqs since i am following the Bachelors of Science program. i was wondering if i should finish my psychology degree and the necessary pre reqs or spend the next year and a half taking upper level chemistry and biology classes to better prepare myself for pharmacy school.. which would look better for admissions?

Hmmm I was sort of in the same boat. Go ahead and finish your psychology degree and do the pre-reqs and/or whatever else, when you can. You're already far along in the process of getting a degree in psychology...might as well finish it and get it done well! Then you can try your hand at upper-divi chemistry and biology classes and see how you like it and go from there. This is just my 2cents!

I would finish your degree. As long as your science prereq grades were solid, you don't need to concern yourself with upper division courses. Of course, if you have time, go ahead and take them, but don't make it a priority. It's not required and they would much rather see a candidate who is genuine and really interested in their major.
